Francesca fuses eastern and western practices into her overall approach to psychotherapy. With an emphasis on client centered therapy she believes each client is an authority of their reality and values the process of empowerment and autonomy. Francesca is direct and thoughtful in how she articulates feedback and awareness to the client. She facilitates the healing process through an array of modalities based on each clients individual or systemic needs.
In her practice Francesca views individuals as capable of making the change necessary to promote optimal growth and self-awareness. She combines a variety of therapy modalities to formulate the most successful intervention strategies assisting each client's discovery of their authentic self. Motivational interviewing, gestalt therapy, CBT and present- centered approaches are a few of the many practices employed in her work. Conditions such as anxiety, depression, addiction, PTSD and trauma, infertility, pregnancy loss, chronic stress, psychological vulnerabilities and psychosomatic conditions are typical challenges her clients face.
Progressive relaxation, meditation and mindfulness techniques are methods Francesca incorporates to facilitate a natural rhythm and balanced state of mind with her clients as they work toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. In this balanced state her clients are better equipped to engage in an exploration into the self to discover what is necessary to maintain a centered wellbeing. What is uncovered, in this process, looks different for each client but the goal remains the same, to live a happier and healthier life.
When working with couples Francesca specializes in an approach called Imago Therapy. In this she serves as a coach to aid in the discovery of each partners ability to transform the relationship to one of healing, trust and open communication. Imago Therapy is based on a fusion of several theories and its core is based on the premise that we come equipped with all the necessary information we need to help ourselves heal as well as our partners. Becoming aware of our own developmental makeup we can grow to understand why we react the way we do to our partners and what we are ultimately searching for in our partnership. If interested in learning more please research Imago Therapy online.
Couples build skills to better communicate, validate and empathize while engaging in dialogue. Francesca helps to reinforce the couples abilities to manage any conflict with a foundation of strengthened trust and connection. Connection is the focus in Francesca's work and with greater connection the couple is better equipped to handle even the most complex of challenges.
Individual Therapy is designed to assist a person through self discovery and enable a process of change congruent with each person's uniquely identified goals. Her approach is integrated with the use of many tools and methods to help clients reach their desired outcome.
Understanding where we come from and how that affects our behavior today can help individuals regain a sense of control in an otherwise chaotic present reality. This paired with methods of interrupting problematic patterns of thinking can relieve much discomfort in one's life. avioral forms of therapy. In the end the process matches each individual and their need for a transformative experience.
Relationships are dynamic and can be ever changing resulting in many forms of conflict. When we feel disconnected in our relationship for long enough periods this can impact our overall quality of life. Relationships are powerful and the effects of a healthy relationship bring so much happiness into our lives.
The approach used is called Imago Therapy. Sessions are a product of psycho-education and communication coaching.
When such “core issues” repeatedly come up with a partner, they can overshadow all that is good in a relationship and leave one to wonder whether he or she has chosen the right mate.
Through Imago Relationship Therapy, couples can learn to understand each other’s feelings and “childhood wounds” more empathically, allowing them to heal themselves and their relationships so they can move toward a more “Conscious Relationship.”
Often we are operating in a reality that stresses us out. Maybe we don't want to change anything in our environment but rather learn how to exist in it more freely with ease and peace. Stress management therapy is a process of learning how to control our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system by deescalating the stress response we have to specific triggers in our daily life. This work involves learning new approaches and targeting key moments in our day. In doing so clients increase powerful tools to live more at ease with their existing reality and meet the demands of a complicated world without the sacrifice of peace and balance within.
